The only reasons people like Family Guy and South Park are because they have crude humour and dumb jokes that take absolutely no amount of wit whatsoever to get. Also, their episodes are hardly developed even with a whole time slot instead of 11 minutes.
Adventure Time obviously deserved to win. Hands down.
Also, in terms of actual fluid animation, Adventure Time has the most impressive out of any of the shows in this category. Especially Archer. Seriously. It's just drag-and-drop.
The Simpsons should be on there, way better than Southpark, family guy, thundercats, futurama,adventure time and archer

Past Present Future: Futurama.
This was a tough one. Both South Park and Archer are HILARIOUS... but I find Archer a bit more fluid with their jokes. Also, the carry-over jokes, from earlier episodes, are great. Still, a hard decision. South Park is topical humor presented through the eyes of children... whereas Archer is a quick, raunchy (like SP), "workplace" comedy. Guess I'm going with Archer.
Like others, though, I'm surprised American Dad! didn't make the list. It's by far Seth MacFarlane's best animated show right now.

The second half of Futurama's comeback season was a big let down - I genuinely believe when it first came back the episodes were their best ever. I know I'm probably alone on that. Archer has disappointed a bit too. Family Guy can still consistently amuse, but to be honest there's very little agonising on this vote compared to the quality in other polls.

Where's Community? It had an entire animated espisode, and it was alone better than any of the shows listed here!
