WTH, Parks and Sunny only got 3 percent? Who adds this crud up. bogus!
The Big Bang Theory needs to move more out of the dark ages, yes it has a couple of good intelligent females in the cast, however the whole males are geeks and shocked when a female enters the Comic Book Store is old. Have the producers ever been to a ComicCon or in a Comic Book store these days, the number of females that are Comic and Sci-Fi Geeks sometimes out-numbers the males, it is not a rarity anymore (females are big X-Box, Playstation etc players as well).
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
What about 2 Broke Girls or Whitney? Why are the same stupid shows always nominated for awards when they're not even funny?

BBT just isn't as good as it started out. I can't stand watching it anymore, its 20 minutes with two or three decent jokes and uninspiring acting
The Big Bang Theory is the most creative, hilarious comedy ever made... BAZINGA! Community deserves this.
I used to think the Big Bang Theory was an adequate show and wasnt going to be as mainstream as everyother CBS show, I was greatly dissapointed. It is now...well terrible. Community should easily win and I'm glad that it is getting so much support!
I'll go with Community. It seems that Community and TBBT are dominating the poll, which kind of sucks because Parks and Recreation, Louie, and Modern Family all deserve recognition too. It's also kind of funny that Children's Hospital has 0%.
I don't watch any of these shows.
The only one here I sorta watch is Modern Fam. but where are the awesome ones like Cougar Town, Suburgatory, Happy Endings, New Girl, How I met Your Mother, come on now
Had to go with Community. It's such a "smart" comedy, and I love all the characters (and some of the actresses that play them... ;p)
It's Always Sunny has had an extremely funny season this year as well. "CharDee McDennis: The Game of Games" has got to be one of the funniest episodes of television I have ever seen.

For Community.
I voted for Community purely because it's been fucking awesome for 3 seasons. However, i'm a little disappointed It's Always Sunny only got 3% :( Honestly, that show does not get the credit it deserves. Hilarious show that one day, hopefully, should get the kind of fan base community or TBBT has.
You know it's been a bad year for comedy if Community, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and some show that no one's voted for (or probably even seen) called Children's Hospital are in the 9 options.
Community is streets ahead! But seriously, while I love Community more than TBBT, I don't think TBBT's a bad show and I don't see how bashing it (along with other shows) will help get new viewers to watch Community. Watching TBBT doesn't make you stupid but it is I agree a much more mainstream and I guess safe comedy that's doing well because of it's wide appeal. Fans of TBBT, don't become Community haters! Community is a smart, loving comedy that is amazingly rewarding when you stick with it (preferably it works best if you watch it from the start and see it grow as it gets better) and needs more people to check it out! Watch it on Hulu, borrow DVD's- this show might be something you love. Bazinga won't be the only catchline you know from a comedy after you've seen this treasure! We want to save this show! #sixseasonsandamoviemoreless

You honestly think How I Met Your Mother is the best comedy of 2011? Its bad enough that The Big Bang Theory is an option.

No offense to "Children's Hospital" but Paul Scheer's "NTSF:SD:SVU" is just funnier. Kate Mulgrew's "Kove" may be the funniest character on television and Scheer as "Trent Houser" in the wig is just genious.
You know why the BBT fans think the show is so funny? Because they're told when to laugh, when to cry, and what to quote. Bazinga. Wow, that was funny. Try watching a show that makes you think, that you have to watch 2 or three times to completely understand. Don't laugh at a tv show because others are, laugh because the humor is genuinely funny. And by now you should know, not show is smarter nor humorous than Community.
... I love Community and voted for it but TBBT bashing only pleases Community lovers and TBBT haters... Making fun of TBBT fans is just alienating the show from potential viewers and could-be fans. I live in Australia. Watched TBBT, thought it was hilarious and an a fun comedy to tune into. Only recently discovered Community, never saw it advertised and after watching it found out how amazing it was, how deeply it works its plots, references and characters but I still like TBBT (even though I'm just as annoyed as other fans that Community got partly ruined by TBBT ratings and is now on a horrible hiatus that means Australia won't get Community for aaaaaaages if it even returns and it may not get another series it needs and definitely deserves, I know it's unfair) and these comments are for a very narrow audience. Community lovers who like TBBT could be slightly annoyed (like me) because they can see that while it's unfair TBBT can't be blamed entirely for Community being on hiatus because lets face it, it's the kind of show made to appeal to big audiences and it isn't TRYING to destroy Community, it's trying to get viewers and make money- that's how televison will work. Also TBBT haters aren't necessarily going to like Community anyway. I love Community and like TBBT but I HATE Two and a Half Men- made by the same person aren't they? I'm not someone who says Community is doomed because it's not like TBBT because of how strong a fanbase of a show like Community is, even if small. That's why we're winning this poll. We're like a mini army. We love the show and won't let it get cancelled. If you asked everyone in America which is their favourite TBBT would win for sure but when asked what comedy has the most dedicated and loving fanbase Community would be beat TBBT any day. They're vastly different shows and while I love Community (#sixseasonsandamovie) telling everyone who doesn't watch it that they're stupid is not going to help the show. Telling people why you love the show while being respectful will be much more productive in getting more fans. Haters won't have a reason to hate and we can tell them to get lost.moreless

Community is just so much better in every way. How BBT is even close to Community is sad. For those who watch BBT and not Community, please, give it a chance. I guarantee you will like it. And you will realize what quality tv is again.

Lots of good shows here but none comes close to being as good as Community. None.
I genuinely liked Big Bang Theory in the beginning but it has slowly become a mediocre jumble of stereotypical sitcom situations and nerdy-but-not so-nerdy-that-the-average-joe-won't-understand pop culture one liners for cheap laughs. It plays off the trend that nerdiness has gone mainstream and yet has abandoned it's once core audience for the canned laughter enjoying zombies that suck away ratings from quality television because it actually requires an attention span.
I'm sorry. That was a little harsh, I admit. I'm just tired of well scripted, well acted, thoughtful, intelligent, and thoroughly heartwarming shows like Community and Arrested Development getting the boot because modern America doesn't want to think. They want to see overly tanned New Jersey-ians get in bar fights, and played out sitcom plots repeat themselves under different names and cast lists. Community and AD both do something that I see few shows attempting in this day and age: They present a group of flawed and realistic characters who, despite cynicism and mismatched views and burnt banana stands, come together as a family. Not because they feel obligated despite deep seated hatred, but because they can accept those disputes and flaws due to the genuine human connection between them.
Optimism and true wit has been lost not only in our entertainment but in our society and that both saddens and frightens me. As sardonic as I am, I am not without hope.
