Vegas is still my most anticipated show. I don't even know if I'll watch Revolution or even Arrow.

Arrow only got this far because it's on CW and some people will watch anything just because it's the CW. I found Arrow somewhat appealing, but Revolution won fair and square. It has a better premise and potential.

How dare you beat ARROW, now Im going to enjoy this so much when the Revolution is cancelled during the first episodes and ARROW will still be going strong for seasons to come. Lololololololo..........

Arrow is #1. REAL ARCHERY FTW.

Thanks for letting me know the Pilot was available. Now definitely on my "to view" list for Fall.

Nice. I just finished watching the Pilot on nbc.com. Really enjoyed it and think this has the potential to be a great show.

I watched the Pilot for Revolution today, and I REALLY REALLY liked it! I hope this show finds success and breaks the pattern.

Revolution? Well let's see if it is up to all the hype!

NBC put the first episode up two weeks early on their website. They must be confident that it's good.

mindy project and 666 park ave

Revolution. It has JJ Abrams and Eric Kripke.

Arrow's gonna win, but I voted for Revolution. Hopefully this hype for Arrow will translate into ratings, CW desperately needs some kind of turn- around, even if just to have a show other than The Vampire Diaries break a 1.0 rating in the demo. I'm sure everyone at CW will be holding their breaths until the fast ratings come in the next morning.

    ARROW.

Revolution will be offed in a heart beat, not strong enough premise dont know what NBC is doing wrong with these shows, they seem like they have a dont care attitude about these genre shows. Why would I even waste a vote on it.

    ARROW!

I have seen both pilots and Arrow is far superior. I was a bit disappointed in the script for Revolution...too clich. Arrow has a strong script, fantastic director and a phenomenal cast and crew. The fight scenes deliver.

You don't have to have read the comic to understand the story, yet if you have there are payoffs.

    Cheers

    Arrow..

Arrow FTW, everything about that show makes it look great.

Revolution is one of those shows that don't seem to actually have a plot. Okay, we're in dystopian future with no electricity, and... what? The heroes wander around the world for what purpose, exactly? Plus, look at the creators. J.J. Abrams, which means it'll be really great in the beginning but they don't actually have the slightest idea how to resolve their mysteries; Abrams will get bored after 2 seasons tops and move on to shiny, pretty new things, leaving the show to crash and burn. And Eric Kripke, which means that once they run out of ideas, they'll start basing the whole show around fanfiction and meta, even making fun of their fans because "fans are always gonna bitch". I dont get what is all fuss for "Last Resort"

I think it is one of the stupidest idea for a show

How logical it is for crew of a nucler sub to have problem to drop a nuke on a forign country

but have no problem to drop a nuke one thier own home land

The threat against their homeland is obviously a bluff. So it's not illogical. It's somewhat plausible as the theme of a miniseries or a movie, but the situation is going to be so unstable that it can't possibly last for years. If they keep it up for several seasons, I hope that each season covers much less than a year of their time, just to keep the full story as short as possible.

what about "Do No Harm" and "Zero Hour" ???

Revolution because of Giancarlo and post-apocalyptic conditions seems way more interesting than the same DC-wannabe rehash.

I am in truth more interested to see Elementary but Arrow is gaining some street cred out there... so who knows... perhaps the CW is going to have something that doesn't suck this year....

    Aug 29, 2012
  • fernkelsey

I wish it would have come down to Last Resort and something else, because that would have had my vote - no questions asked!

    Aug 29, 2012
  • fernkelsey

I'm going with Revolution only because I tend to shy away from CW shows, even though Arrow looks like it has the best chance (compared to other CW shows) to pique my interest. Like everyone else is saying though, I have a feeling that Revolution won't make it past one season, MAYBE two, and Arrow will go on for a while. I guess we'll see.

  • Anachronisms

I can't help but look at Revolution and think that the best case is that it gets Jericho'd. More likely it is just Terra Nova / Flash Forward awful. Arrow seems to have potential - super hero story with a Supernatural sensibility.

The pic is wrong. At the time of the vote Revolution was in the upper right corner and Nashville down in the left corner.

  • DawsonLeery

My final vote would go to "Elementary" no matter what happens...

    Aug 29, 2012
  • DanFixx

I knew from the start of the vote (It was fun) that this would turn out to be the choice : Arrow vs. Revolution. But, as I love alternate post apocalyptic visions and I'm very willing to give J.J. another television chance, my last vote goes to REVOLUTION. (I'll definitely will be watching both!)

  • indy2011

I am looking forward to Arrow but it's Vegas & Revolution that I want to succeed simply because they are new.

Arrow 9 times out of 10 they wont stick to the comic so it might start out strong but if it gets passed a first season I will be amazed.

  • logossun

I'm sorry - Arrow over Last Resort? Well, that brings the average TV.com reader age down...

    Aug 29, 2012
  • Kelso963

I'm going to have a lot on my plate this fall, that's for sure. My top picks would be 666 park ave, Revolution, and Arrow. It's hard to choose just one among those but if I really had to I guess I would say Revolution. The only thing is a lot of people are putting these shows down already without even seeing them so who knows how long they'll end up lasting. All good new shows get cancelled nowadays because there's so much on tv..

I do not agree that there is so much on tv.

granted there is a lot of reality but have we come to a stage that reality is what we are looking for ? if you want reality go outside and look for me i want something to take my mind of what is going on outside.

Exactly. Doesn't matter what genre , there is a lot of everything especially reality. Shows aren't getting good ratings when everyone's tuning in to watch child abuse in action like Toddlers and Tiaras, or stupid shit like Jersey Shore..

Revolution, even though I fully expect a disappointing show and a single season from it.

AH HA HA HA! Arrow is actually going to be the longer-lasting show, most likely.
