Frank will co-star as Joe Romano in Robbie Bryan's iMurders, which will open the 2008 Hoboken International Film Festival on May 31. The project was shot completely in New Jersey, mostly Hoboken, Union City, and Weehawken. Frank's son, Rio Joseph, was born during filming right after an off day.

Frank appeared as Mr. Pig in The Kill Point, an eight-hour drama that follows a botched bank robbery that becomes a hostage crisis. Production began on March 28, 2007, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Kill Point premiered July 22, 2007, on Spike TV.

Frank Grillo: (in an interview in Jamaica Gleaner (February 25, 2006), Frank was asked if soap operas were a training ground for other work). Everything you do as an actor teaches you something. But soaps are not necessarily the best learning ground for other genres. There's a difference in the way you work in films compared to the way you work in soaps. And the same with primetime television.
