- Most radio talk shows use a five or eight second delay in their shows, however Frasier's conversation with Stephen, who hears voices in his radio, takes place in real time.
edit » - If anyone doubts that Frasier was filmed in front of a live audience, check the VU meters on Roz's console while she is flossing her teeth. Frasier's voice causes the meters to jump to about two-thirds maximum when he says the line "Don't bother, Roz, I'll get it," and then the audience laughter which follows registers at about one-third. edit »
- Frederick turns 11 in this episode, set in January 1999. But on "Cheers" he was born in November 1989, so he should only be 9 years and a few months old! edit »

- Niles: These balloons come in an unsealed package, covered in some mysterious dust, straight from some southeast Asian sweatshop. Doesn't that worry you?
Martin: Oh, you bet it does. I remember back in Korea, we'd crouch in our foxholes, scared to death those bastards were gonna drop balloons on us.
edit » - (Niles picks up his brother from jail)
Niles: You certainly took your sweet time. I've been waiting here two hours.
Frasier: Well, I'm sorry, Niles. I guess what with the pillow fight in the holding tank and the pre-mug shot makeover, time just got away from me.
edit » - Frasier: For the next couple of days, you're going to hear some rather nasty stories and some snide jokes about your old man ...
Freddie: Mom's coming?

- The title for the fourth scene "Mr Good Deeds Goes to Town" is a pun on Mr Deeds Goes to Town, the 1936 Frank Capra movie.
