Daphne: Oh, you know, I've always been fascinated by these birds that can actually learn how to talk.
Martin: Oh, they can't talk. They just drill a few words into them at the pet shop, and then they never learn anything else after that.
Frasier: It is attractive though.
Martin: Yeah, well, that's the way they are. Cute, but stupid.
BABY: Awwk, Cute, but stupid!
(Martin begins to imitate Baby's actions)
Frasier:You know Daphne, perhaps we should just leave these two alone. I sense a real battle of wits shaping up here.
(edit)
Niles: I don't think my reputation can suffer anymore than it already has.
Frasier: I wouldn't be so sure about that. Wearing a white bird after Labor day! (edit)
Niles: (opening the door to his new apartment) Ah, glad you made it
Frasier: You know, Niles, this precious little building of yours isn't as exclusive as you think. Your doorman waved me right through.
Niles: Well, that's because he knows you.
Frasier: Oh, a fan of my show?
Niles: No, he lives in your building.
(edit)
Frasier: I've let Roz set me up on another one of her blind dates.
Daphne: Who's the lovely woman?
Frasier: Oh, a friend from her aerobics. Well, perhaps it won't be too bad. She's 32, has a terrific body... Apparently thinks I'm God's gift to broadcasting.
Niles: Well, at least you have one thing in common.

Trivia

add »
At one point Martin mentions that Baby is in the kitchen eating peanut butter. Birds actually should NEVER be given peanut butter because peanuts can be fatally toxic to birds. Also, birds should not be allowed in the kitchen at any time. There are too many dangers, plus the fumes given off from Teflon cookware are also deadly to birds. In addition, it seems very strange that fussy and germophobic Niles would keep an animal in his kitchen, close to his food and cooking supplies, no matter how much affection he has for the creature.
(edit)
Shortly after Frasier attempts to lift the bird off of Niles' head when it first becomes attached, it is clearly visible that Baby moves her feet to get a better footing.
