Ed: Let's escape.
Al: That's impossible! I can't swim!
Ed: Uh. Come to think of it, neither can I. (edit) Izumi: You two have to survive on this island, all by yourselves for one full month, all right? Oh. And you can't use any alchemy.
Ed and Al: WHAT!?!?!? (edit)

Ed and Al: WHAT!?!?!? (edit)
Izumi Curtis teaches Ed and Al about the meaning of "All is One, and One is All". But "All is One, and One is All" is referenced to the Ouroboros, which is the exact opposite of the Flamel Symbol that Ed, Al, and Izumi wear.
(edit)
Goof: Availability of First Aid Supplies:
After Ed gets bitten by the fox in the flashback he wrapped up his shoulder with white bandages. However, there was no way for the brothers to get the bandages; Izumi only gave them a hunting knife to survive on the deserted island. (edit) The symbol on Al's shoulder, the back of Ed's coat, and above Izumi's left breast is called the Flamel Snake. It is also the symbol for Alchemy. (edit) Goof: Two Right Feet?
When Ed and Al were standing by the pond, two right footprints appear behind Ed while he's walking on his left leg. (edit)

Ed, Al and Izumi's Insignia: The Flamel Snake:
The Flamel Snake symbol references Nicolas (also spelled Nicholas) Flamel (1330 - 1418); who rose from being a humble Parisian bookseller to become one of the most famous alchemists of his day - and beyond.
Supposed possessor of the legendary Philosopher's Stone, Flamel and his wife, Pernelle were rumored to be still alive centuries after their recorded deaths.
This is the same Nicholas Flamel mentioned in "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone" (British title: "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"). (edit)
