Following Mustang's tip, Ed and Al travel to Marcoh's village to ask him about the Philosopher's Stone. However, before they are able to learn more about the Stone from the Doctor, they are interrupted by the arrival of Brigadier Basque Gran, who arrests the doctor for desertion during the Eastern War. Ed chases after the General's car, determined not to let the General get away with another cover up. They are all surprised, however, when the car is stopped by the sudden appearance of the Scarred Man.

Anime vs. Manga:
In the manga, Dr. Marcoh is recognized by Major Armstrong while the Elrics are en route to Resembool. Consequently, he is left in the little village he is found in after the Elrics leave and not brought to Central. (edit) The man who is murdering State Alchemists is given the name "Scar" by Lt. Colonel Hughes, based on witnesses reports of a man with a large scar on his face seen fleeing the scene of the murders. (edit) Dr. Marcoh was known as 'Master Mauro' to the people he treated in the villiage. (edit)

Destruction's Right HandPerfect "Painful to watch" This episode starts to name off the Ishbalan war that they had gone throgh six years ago and the newely forming war in Lior. Destruction's Right HandPerfect "Exciting" Scar attacks the elric brothers and other stat alchemist to redeem what happens to his race of people ages ago. and he does some very key characters in as well as mess some up pretty well.
