Ed and Al once again find themselves in a hospital. Winry has traveled to Central to make repairs, but is angered when the brothers don't want to share their experiences with her. Al: Just do what she says, Ed. Drink the dumb milk.
Ed: Yeah, that's easy for you to say, Al! You didn't have to drink anything to get that big!
Al: Shut up. It wasn't my choice to be this way. (edit) Hughes: This is my adorable daughter Elicia! Isn't she a bundle of divine cuteness? And you're dying to meet her, aren't you?
Winry: Uh, yes, I guess...
Hughes: All right. Then I'm gonna let you! (edit) Ed: Forget it! I hate what I hate! It's not like I'll die ‘cause I don't drink that crap!
Winry: Jeeze! And this is the reason you're always the size of a bean! (edit) Winry: (annoyed) You didn't drink your milk. (edit) Hughes: Yo, Roy! Good timing! I've got great news!
Mustang: What, your soldiers have found Scar?
Hughes: No, you obsessed idiot, how would that be great news? Did you honestly forget? Tomorrow's Elisia's Birthday! (edit)

Hiromu Arakawa's Self-Portrait:
As noted in the Allusions to Episode 44 (Hohenheim of Light), the "self-portrait" of Hiromu Arakawa is that of a bespectacled black and white cow. If you look closely during Ed and Winry's argument over milk, you will see it in the background. (edit) "The Ouroboros, the serpent that devours its own tail."
The Ouroboros is symbolic of many things. To name a few: life & death intertwined, the yin & yang, the thing that bonds everything together, and the idea of continuity; that which begins shall end and that which ends shall begin anew. The symbol exists in several different cultures and has alchemic significance. (edit)
