Armstrong: I had to get to the bottom of the corruption plaguing our military. And sometimes you have to play with vermin to sniff out a rat.
(edit)
Scar: But the Elric brothers... they live only for each other.
(edit)
Gluttony: Death... Death... Soon, they'll all be dead!
Pride: Not if that human-wannabe can't get a grip on her own emotions and pull it together in time. (edit) Archer: Have Scar and Kimbley killed each other in battle? Or is the Crimson Alchemist just out having too much fun?! (edit) Scar: Brother... I love you.

Look Carefully:
The title of the previous closing theme, "Motherland" (shown as "Mother Land" in this episode), appears on a sign as Lust and Scar are running through an alley.
(edit) The opening theme to this episode does not contain Al's opening statement of Equivalent Exchange. (edit) Goof: The soldier who runs up to Archer saluting and telling him that everyone left Lior has his sleeves rolled up. But a split-second later, when an over-the-shouler shot is shown of him still saluting, his sleeve is rolled down. (edit) Sloth's Ouroboros tattoo is revealed in this episode. Also, this is the first time she is shown dressed completely in black. (edit) Lust shows her softer side in this episode. (edit)
