I've been hearing this rumor that the popular show is getting another spin-off for the 07-08 season. Can anyone prove or disspell this rumor?

Agree. when it first appeared CSI (Las Vegas) was something new. Sure, Miami had potential, some stuff could be addressed in Miami that probably would never happen in Las Vegas, and the same goes to the NY show. However, with the passing of time there's not much to do with these shows, they tend to get old and boring pretty fast. I remember that I loved to watch CSI when it was on and nowadays I don't even bother giving it a glimpse...

There is NO way they would make a CSI Los Angles, 98 percent of CSI Las Vegas is taped in Los Angels. The way we can tell if it Las Vegas or Los Angels, you look at the trees if you see one that means they are in Los Angels

I totally agree with that, tellos0.  The only interesting thing that I think could happen would be that CBS tries to create a CSI-Numb3rs crossover.

Nah, there's no point in it. There are too many. Miami needs to be taken off the air. I've just started watching CSI: NY after they finally made those much-needed changes. I actually like that show now.

The ones we have already are more than enough. I can't imagine them starting another one.

Three is definately enough.  See Law and Order.  Even w/ Dick Wolf at the helm, Law & Order #4 (Trial By Jury) failed after a half season.  And even Conviction (Law & Order #5).  If they are even thinking about CSI: Los Angeles should be scrapped.  Not to mention, I know that at least Las Vegas and NY are both filmed in Los Angeles.

I think IMO three is enough! Because like you mentioned with L&O, they outdid the shows! And four and five did flop indeed!

I agree with you all. But for the record, "Conviction" was a whole new series from the producers of L&O, wasn't a related spin-off.

Conviction took place in the LAW and Order universe and it had a few characters who used to be on Law and Order so it was a spinoff

Looks official to me. As of tonights episode on CSI they go to LA and two known actors are the main contacts for LA. I believe it is going in the directions. Next season look for it. I bet it will premiere.
