BUT (this is my opinion and I'm entitled to it!).....

I find it really annoying to go to an episode discussion for one of my favorite shows and have to get thru 15 pages of "what do you think will happen?"

"this episode looks so good!"

"so and so looks SOOOOO cute in the previews *sigh*"

I thought episode discussion was, you know about THAT episode. Not speculation. Not "oh boy i can't wait!" 87 times.

I've had mods jump on me for posting off topic but really don't you think that kind of thing is off topic?

A few posts like that wouldn't be bad but when the posts start like 5 days early and there's nothing of substance about the upcoming episode and it happens EVERY week, it gets old. I'd like to be able to go to the forum and find the topic discussion just by clicking on it. Not looking thru 20 pages over the next 5 minutes to find some actual discussion on what really happened.

I agree with you completely. There should be two threads for specific episode discussion: a trivial thread and a thread for real discussion.
