Hi Stephen Michaelson here. I think this post will cause a lot of discussion. But here it goes. This is my top five all time sitcoms of all time

1 – Seinfeld – Sayings are still used today
    2 - M.A.S.H – I don't know if M.A.S.H really counts but I am putting it in here
3 - The Cosby Show – Bill Cosby at his best and it was a revolutionary show
4 - All in the Family – Sit great in reruns
5 - Married with Children – The show that made all low brow comedies that we see today

Obviously I am a person of the 80', I know on every list there Lucy is always number one but I never found it any good. Sorry but it never made me laugh

Agreed about M*A*S*H , for the most part. Hawkeye got on my nerves sometimes. Seinfeld was pretty good as well.

1 The Golden Girls - A show that showed that humor and innuendo could happen regardless of age.

    2 M*A*S*H - A good and timeless show.

    3 Murphy Brown - A show that's still good.

4 Frasier - A show that still makes me laugh, years later.

5 NCIS - Still on the air, but it makes the cut, imho. Good show, good cast and good humor.

    My personal favorite comedies:

The Cosby Show (You can't go wrong with Cos...we won't talk about "Ghost Dad")

The Monkees (Irrelevance at its finest, and great music to boot)

Happy Days/Laverne & Shirley (I always watched them back-to-back, so I count them as one; simply classic)

Family Ties (equal opportunity satire: conservative and liberal alike)

    Reba (Risqu?, but fun nonetheless)

    My LEAST favorites:

Seinfeld (I watched a couple of episodes and was bored, bored, bored)

    Cheers (People in a bar...laugh-riot...not)

Modern Family (I can't even watch the ADS for this show without being disgusted)

Roseanne ("Average American Family"...not MY family)

    Frasier (see "Seinfeld")
