He has appeared in many TV shows and movies. He is usually best noted for his Academy Award winning supporting actor performance in COOL HAND LUKE and as PETRONI in the AIRPORT movie series. With his deep voice, this guy tended to play dominant male characters. He did both Comedy and Drama well. I would consider George a classic actor.
