It looks like there is a new girl and gut bu I wonder if they are bringing the same guy back or tie him in somehow! He was cute...

  Not since Barbara Eden or Linda Carter has there been such a lead female character that attracts so much...
  
  The premiss of the show is too simple to have made it without such an actress. Although it tends to be a tear jerker at moments; the plots have tended to be the same from week to week. I'm not sure I care for the death/resurrection of hubby, but, it's not about him. I doubt I would have rated this show an 8 of there were another actress in the lead role. I think I would probably rate it a six.

  i am generally not into the sci fi gere but despite that i have been watching this show from the first episode. i must admit that the only reason i started watching is because my mom wanted to see it and i though it would be dumb but i was pleasently supprised. i dont really believe in ghosts or the after life but i find the stories interesting and i love the story between Melinda and Jim. i think they are a sweet couple and i cant wait to see what will happen with their new and growing family next season

  I need more room - this is less like a review board and more like a fan forum. I can't help but feel like my words won't even be taken seriously here. I knew exactly what was coming - that it was all a big misunderstanding. It disgusted me. Not everything in life, as screwed up as life can be, is a misunderstanding. Not EVERYBODY is misunderstood, even if it can be put that way. Just 'cause someone's evil doesn't mean they should be excused from their crimes. Forgiveness, yes - that is what should be preached. Not (always) misunderstandings).

  Melinda Gordon is a young newlywed with a great husband and her own antiques shop. She also sees, and talks to ghosts. She helps them find out why they have not crossed over. A bit far-fetched, but a lovely idea that one can't quite disbelieve... hide « show »

  I have to say that my husband and I really liked the show for the first few years, however, we stopped watching when Jim died and then jumped into the other guy. I am very disappointed in the writers and producers who went to this extreme--did they really think that would improve the show? In fact, they probably lost a lot of viewers. Also, the substitution of Jamie Kennedy for Jay Mohr was a bad idea--he just doesn't do anything for the show; plus he's not the actor Jay is. I actually was upset when Ayisha Tyler's character died in the plane crash episodes as I do not like Camryn Manheim at all, but, since I do like her son (even though he grew up overnight into a different person, it seems, from one season to the next--what was that all about?)I'll put up with her...or I did until the show did the jump-the-shark thing. Even though I hate the "it was all a dream" thing (done with "Dallas" and "St. Elsewhere") if it brings back Jim as himself, then I accept it!!.

  I love Jim and melinda, only want to see jim not sam, jim and melinda is good for the show. work it out where both had the same dream and woke up, looked at each other and then later discuss their dream and try to prevent him from getting shot., victory for all of us, this show is great keep it on. if possible I would like to see ghost whisper where we can look at the show online past show as well just in case I missed it like I missed new beginning and so on i would like to be able to watch past show in full time on the internet. thanks.
