For ABC, this was a much more successful morning news series than A.M. America, which had lasted the first ten months of 1975. ABC looked at one of its affiliates, WEWS in Cleveland, and admired the station's very successful news/talk series called The Morning Exchange (1972-1999). Network… More programming president Fred Silverman oversaw ABC's using The Morning Exchange as a model for their new program. Today the show is anchored by Charlie Gibson, Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. Tony Perkins gives weather reports throughout the morning. The show is usally in a battle for #1 with rival morning news show "Today" START YOUR DAY GOOD TO GO!

Good Morning American is the best morning news show on television. hide show
Good Moring America offers quality reporting, along with information from around the world. This show usually has unbiased reporting, and they always have the lastest news when you watch. The show also priovides great community service. Examples of this would be their donations for coats and food. Normally they do these when they ask a company, or when they have rich people on that they interview. They also have there summer concert series which provides a great service to the city of New York. The show also brings the viewers the newest updates on people and products. This show not only provides the viewers with news, but also unseful information on the things that we use in our life. The show is great and helps out people a lot.
I truly enjoy your show and the way you all seem to genuinly like each other. hide show
I love your show!! Your anchors and staff are like friends and I look forward to seeing you every morning while i'm getting ready for work. I love how you all seem to be so close. I believe your friendships are genuine and I like that. As a black woman, I am especially proud of Robyn Roberts and I have the ut-most respect and admiration for her. She is one of the few women I can honestly say I respect. Your stories really move me. I think that your pesonal touch to stories really make the difference. Keep up the good work!!
Hi I Like GMA, i have watched it every morn ing scince i was ( like or about or skip this part which ever part you prefer) in first grade. My mom has watched that for even longer [ Since like the nine teen seventies ( 1970 s) or some thining like that !]I do get boreed of some parts were they do point less segmats but still it is a very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very good show
It is unclear as to what you are looking for in this space. A summary of what? My review? Me? hide show
I am very disappointed in what I have been viewing with GMA lately regarding the presidential campaign and polls. You are proving to be more left-sided than I had thought. Let me preface this with the fact that I had turned to GMA quite some time ago because you appeared to be less biased then most morning news shows. It was refreshing.
This morning, I turned on your show only to hear that McCain's negative campaigning poll votes exceeded Obama's. You failed to inform the viewer, though, that although McCain may have more negativism (based on a poll), Obama's negative adds are airing 2-1 in most undecided states. With that in mind, who, truly, is more negative? This is misleading to the viewer.
I'm saddened by what I watch daily now on GMA. I cannot believe how biased your broadcasting has become. hide show
I am very disheartened when I watch GMA, it is so politically biased I am appalled. This is obviously a democratic crew and it shows through on your broadcasts daily. I cannot believe how you downgrade people who have a different view than you. You make fun of Sen. Palin and McCain you try to boost confidence when talking about Bidin and Obama. I have always felt that this was an "equal opportunity" show, yet lately I just plain change the channel, as I am outraged to see how your media is handling this Presidential campaign. If the candidates could just do the talking and the rest of you be quiet, America could make up it's own mind on their votes, but after debates or anything of the like, you have all your analysts come on and "TELL" America what they really meant and who is really leading and how they should be swayed to vote. I have given up on GMA and have decided not to waste my time.
Sorry for the review, but it's been coming since February. You have definitely gone down hill in your reproach on televising.
