It is PG for violence and it would be scary to 6 year olds...

Because it's not scary at all.

I know I've seen select episodes, and so far none of them got a rise out of me.

The acting is terrible, the special effects are mundane at best, and the atmosphere is lacking at best.

Dude, get over it. They're going to be exposed too much worse things anyway.

I'm not even arguing about it, so you don't have to say "get over it."

Are you kidding me? It's not scary at all, and little kids need to be scared every once in a while. Shows like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark deal with fake stuff like ghosts, monsters, ect. It's not like they're about rape and murder.

I found them mildly scary as a kid, so did some of my friend (the show pops up in conversation now and again). But it is a children's. It's horror for a younger audience hence why its so lame when you watch it when you are older.

well if goosebumps and afraid of the dark does not scare the kiddies then bring on The X Files Unsolved Mysteries and Silent Hill Homecoming for Xbox 360
