A Forum and Reviews
TV.com has added the capacity to create a forum on person pages, so I've set one up for Goran (and Luka, of course!) There are just three threads so far; jump on over and take a look! As you might imagine, it ain't all discussion!
I'd love to see more people write reviews of Goran. He's only got three, and I haven't even written one - imagine that! It's a great way to earn points toward your next level, and a chance to talk about Goran and Luka!
Just click on REVIEW THIS PERSON on the summary page.

A Little News in the Night
A bit of GV news:
First, Goran is on vacation in Croatia, and has been there for several weeks. During the time there, he filmed one or more episodes of the comedy "Our Little Clinic" which starts two of his drama school friends. We'll never get to see it, darn it, but it would be fun!
Second, in the last couple days, Goran cut a track for a new record. Yup, it's a duet, with singer Guliano, who is a big star in Croatia. The text of the article from the Croatian media, translated into English is on the forum. The record is due out in October, and I wouldn't be surprised if the song finds its way onto the web in mp3 form before long.
Third, Goran was interviewed briefly about his current plans. He commented on returning to the US soon to begin the new season of ER. The article indicates he will play Luka for another year and a half, which would seem to suggest he plans to go at least part way into Season 14 with the show (perhaps leaving midseason, like George Clooney?) He also said he plans to return the the Croatian National Theater after ER, and will narrated a documentary on Tito.
Now here's the fun thing: one comment Goran makes in the last article suggests he was asked if he was going to appear in a specific role, about which he declined to comment, saying he doesn't like to talk about work until he's signed a contract. There's a small rumor floating around a couple of the sci-fi websites that he's under consideration for a role in the new Star Trek film JJ Abrams is prepping. The comic-book representations of Capt. Calhoon of the "Star Trek: New Frontier" series evidently bear a striking resemblance to him. Given his love of sci-fi, it's fun to think there might be something to this!
This all comes from translations of Croatian articles, so take it all with that it mind.

Trivia Update
I'm in the process of updating GV's biography and trivia page. Nothing is being deleted, but I am rearranging, and combining trivia items, which might include some minor rewording. If you don't see a submission I approved, never fear. It will be back!

Well Look at This!
How fun! I can merrily blog away about Goran right on his page. Nothing much to report at present. We're in the slack time now, of course, and news is scarce, even in the Croatian media. But once ER returns to production, this should liven up!
Meanwhile, join us on Luka Pics for a daily look at the joy that is Goran Visnjic.
