    Have we ever been told how old Luka is?

    I have a theory that Goran, the actor, is younger than Luka, the character. Am I right? I'd like to know your thoughts on that.

    I guess if they ever mentioned his age we wouldn't forget! My favorite characters are Luka and Abby (since Season 6) and I try to keep up all the details about them.

    But I think Goran is about the same age as Luka. I looked at his bio (Goran's) and he'll be 36 this year.

    In S12, when Abby was deciding whether to keep the baby or not she said to Luka "... I'm 37 if not now, when?". I always thought Luka's 3 to 4 years younger than Abby. So by that time he had 33 or 34 (the same age Goran was during S12).

    That's my theory!

    My "theory" is based on what happened to Luka's Croatian family:

    In the "bishop storyline" in Season 7 we were told that Danijela and the kids were killed in the siege of Vukovar, which is a historical fact, and it happened in the autumn/fall of 1991. At this point in real life, Goran was 18-19 years old.

    In "Secrets & lies" we know that Luka and Danijela married young, but did they really have their two children while still being teenagers? I believe they were older. We know (in "Caņon city"?) that when he died Marko was at least old enough to walk, as he had once got lost on the beach and walked back home, so the children weren't exactly newborn babies when they died.

    All of this combined makes me think that Luka is older than Goran. Any thoughts on that?

    Wow, I sure as hell couldn't off placed that information together, bravo Lin.

    My guess is Luka is late 30's - early 40's.

    Well Amy, I just have a curious mind when it comes to any Goran/Luka-based info, I suppose...

    So could Luka be about 5 years older than Goran? Yes, that's what my guess would be.
