Episode Summary

Gossip Girl reports that Serena van der Woodsen was seen buying pregnancy tests. Of course, on the Upper East Side, the truth is often even juicier and more scandalous than the gossip. Gossip Girl discovers that Blair is pregnant. hide show

This was an above average episode of Gossip Girl. Revolving around a Blair storyline was a smart move as Leighton Meester's acting is stronger than the rest of the cast, and she's just a generally likeable character. Even Chuck was somewhat acceptable in this installment. Still, Rufus, Nate and Eric continue to be extremely irritating and ruin the show. I find it highly unlikely that a plethora of women will just throw themselves at Rufus, so I don't know why the writers put that in. The popular girl entourage is not very good either as they're all fairly ugly and annoying.

This episode seemed very OC-ish, which is not a shock as it is from the same people. The show needs a little more comedy and a little less relationship trouble if they want to last more than four seasons and get good ratings.

    8.6 Great

Alright this is the first episode I'm watching of this show (yes extremely late aren't I) anyway I must say this episode has me regretting not watching the first half of the season but don't worry I'll get there. hide show

I love the fact that Chuck can text at sixty miles an hour, news gets around that school faster that CNN, at my school we're still using messenger boys and town criers. Poor Dan it takes him days to tell Serena I love you while she tells random strangers on the street but in the end it all worked out. I must admit those rich kids have it nice, one problem at school=three months in France. I have had experience watching the O.C so I know how to over look all the old people parts. One last thing these people have some F&%*ed up surnames. You can see that drama is no stranger here but that's what makes it so sweet. Love the ending X.O.X.O.

    9.4 Superb

One of the best episodes yet. hide show

It was great and really sad at the same time. Blair is dethroned because Chuck sent the tip to Gossip Girl. The start of the episode was good, Serena was spotted buying pregnancy tests. Of course no TV drama would be complete without the "pregnancy scare". I loved Serena and Blair in this episode. They fought for so many times but in the end, they stuck together. Serena's such a good friend to Blair, even taking the "public bullet" for her. The scene where B already took the test was hilarious. "I wouldn't know what to wear on a paternity hearing." "Clean slate?" "Ahh, clean slate." That was priceless. And I loved how Dan was all, I love you even if you're not pregnant blah blah. He was really great. Chuck was an a**, Nate was an a** but I loved their "fight" scene. it made us realize that the two of them really care for Blair. But her "dethronement" was so sad. I'm sure it wouldn't last long. B's gonna take everybody down. Especially Little Jenny Humphrey.

The truth about Blair finally came out. And when it came out she lost everything. hide show

The truth about Blair finally came out. And when it came out she lost everything. Nate found out that his beloved virgin had lost her virginity to his best friend, the person that treats women like objects, Chuck.

Her friends didn't want anything to do with her, cos they saw her like someone who thinks is perfect but is worse then the rest.

She tried to get Serena away from her, but Serena is a good friend, and she did everything she can so she can convince her not to go to Paris, and finally she succeeded.

Meanwhile Dan struggled to tell Serena that he loves her, but ultimately he succeeded and told her how much she means to him and why she loves her.

Jenny started to look more and more like Blair. She took Blair's spot in the elite group, and started acting more like her.

    10 Perfect

Queen B is dethroned! hide show

Gossip Girl reports that Serena was buying pregnancy tests. She was really buying them from Blair because she thinks she might be pregnant, but the father would be unknown because she slept with Chuck and Nate. Serena tells Dan while Jenny overhears. Chuck gets upset with Blair and tells Gossip Girl the real story. Jenny tells Nate the real story too. Nate breaks up with Blair and when Blair learns that everyone knows, she wants to leave for France. Even Chuck rejects her when she comes to him. Nate confronts Chuck and tells him to stay away from him. Dan tells Serena that he loves her. It takes her some time, but she says she loves him too. Serena convinces Blair not to run away, but to face her problems with Serena by her side. Jenny seems to take over Blair's spot as Queen Bee.

This episode was great! I'm glad Dan loves Serena and vice versa! I was sad when Nate ended it with Blair. I like them! I don't like how Jenny is turning into Blair. I was hoping she'd be a nicer leader, but peer pressure is really strong. I can't wait to see the next episode! This episode gets a 10 out of 10!
