Oliver: (to Lisa who's cooking) What's that mess?
Lisa: They're croissants.
Oliver: They are?
Lisa: Well, they aren't official French croissants. I made them out of hotcake batter.
Oliver: I must say your hotcake batter has an international flavor, which is about the only flavor it does have. (edit) Lisa: (seeing the Executive Producer credit written on Oliver's shower towel) You used to swipe towels from hotels. Now you swipe them from executive producers.
Olvier: What? (edit) (Haney's trying to sell Olvier his own brand of travelers checks)
Olvier: Haney's Traveler's Checks? I could just imagine me trying to get someone to cash one of those for me!
Haney: Easiest thing in the world.
(man walks up)
Oh, excuse me, sir. Would you mind cashing this ten dollar traveler's check?
Man: Sorry, I---Aww, it's a Haney's Traveler's Check! Be glad to hep ya!
Haney: Thank you.
Oliver: Where did you have him stashed?
Haney: Who?
Oliver: That shill that sashed the check for you.
Haney: Mr. Douglas, I never saw him before. He was a perfect stranger.
Man: (returning) How long we gonna be here cousin Eustace? (edit) Oliver: (discussing the $300 cost to fly to France) This won't really cost you the three hundred dollars. This is a business trip. It's deductable.
Fred: From what?
Oliver: Your income tax!
Fred: Did that go through?
Oliver: Yes!
Newt: Well, they ought to send us some literature or something. (edit) Hank: (showing a film of Paris) These pictures were taken on Charlie's recent visit to Paris.
(onscreen appears silent film footage of American doughboys marching around the Arc de Triomphe during WWI) It's the main street of Paris on a typical Sunday afternoon. As you can see, everybody is walking and having a great time.
Oliver: When was Charlie in Paris?
Hank: 1918.
Oliver: Turn on the lights! Whattaya showing those for?
Hank: The only other ones Charlie had were of the Kaiser signing the Armistace. (edit)
