Wings Over Hooterville

Episode Number: 33    Season Num: 2    First Aired: September 14, 1966    Prod Code: 033
Lisa tells the locals how she and Oliver met during WWII. After parachuting from his plane, he was rescued from a tree by Lisa, then a sergeant in the Hungarian Underground. Back in present day Hooterville, the valley's corn crop is being devoured by the "bing bug". Oliver is drafted to pilot Haney's ancient biplane and dust the crops, even though he hasn't flown since the war. Again, it's a good thing he's wearing a parachute.
