    I know there are not a lot of us on this forum, but I felt I should make a topic for the few of us to discuss what is currently going on in our favorite city of Springfield! Rants and raves, etc.

    First, I am disliking Harley very much right now! I used to love her but this whole thing with Cyrus and basically screwing over her own niece is unacceptable. Not that Cyrus doesn't play a part... but when is Marina going to be happy? Why is she always screwed over.

    LOVING the Lizzie/Bill/Jonathan storyline! This one has sooo many possibilities and it brings just about everyone on the show into the storyline in some way. I want Jonathan to stay around for a long, long time!

    They need to give more airtime to Ashlee and Coop and develop their relationship more. I have a feeling that she will have a problem when real intimacy comes up and hopefully they will stick through. They are so cute together!

    First off, I made this topic sticky so that people can add to it as they wish.

    Okay, I agree about Harley, I can't stand that she's going after Cyrus and that they broke up Cyrus and Marina before they even got a chance to be together. Although the cute Mallet/Marina moment the other day was fun to watch. Someone mentioned a while back that they can't stand that every guy falls for Cassie.... I think the same thing about Harley, she's married every one of Alan's sons, plus Mallet... now she's got to have Cyrus.
    Also, why does it seem like they are going to break up Reva and Jeffrey! Nooooo! I had to endure Cassie and Josh being together, until I got used to them and now it looks as if they are gonna send Reva and Josh back together. Jeffrey and Reva are so much fun together, unlike all the other boring couples on the show.

    Okay, enough for now.

    I totally agree with you about Reva and Jeffrey! I was skeptical at first, but they definitely won me over! ***I have a feeling it's just going to be you and me ranting and raving! We need more fans for this show!!!

    There are plenty of GL fans just not on this forum. When I got frustrated with this, I began posting on www.soapcentral.com. I don't know if I'm allowed to post that site but it's all encompassing. All things GL can be found there.

    Now, onto what you posted...

    I'm still a Harley fan but it is a tad ridiculous that she ends one relationship and jumps into another. I know they almost died but hasn't anyone learned that rebound relationships just don't work. Not to mention, that's her neice!!! And!!!And!!!And!!! Since when has Harley not been a risk taker. That whole dream episode was annoying. Harley is all about risk.

    And Mallet and Marina...NO!!! I don't need nuMallet and Harley back together. That's the 1990s. I don't even need Mallet with Dinah. They were cute but Dinah is the most annoying character. But Marina and Mallet...enough with these guys dating their potential daughters! I didn't think it was cute because the writers juxtaposed their date with Marina and Cyrus back together the very next day. I don't know who is a good match for Marina. I think they're still trying to figure that out. But stop recycling!

    As for Reva and Jeffrey, I've been a supporter from Day One and I'm confused where you guys are getting the impression they'll break up. All the spoilers say so as well and I just won't believe it. First, there is no more Josh and Reva. He's a minister and more boring than...well...than the most boring thing you can think of. He and Cassie are made for each other. Let them keep each other miserable. Jeffrey has the spice that Reva has had all her life and is a nice matchup. He got all mushy with her last episode...the lines about her smile...it was all sap and I loved it. One more unhappy couple and I'll...well...I won't do anything but FF through their scenes.

    Yeah we do know that there are other forums out there, but I guess Shera and I just like this one best. I'm glad that you've come to join us more often, it gives the forum more opinions. Feel free to guide others to our happy home, the more the merrier.

    The reason why it seems to me like they are heading toward a break-up between Jeffrey and Reva is that lately so many people have been pointing out to Jeffrey Reva's many faults so to speak. Dinah told him that he was just a stop on the train that is Josh (said in my own words of course) then Doris told him that he basically jumps when Reva says to. It's as if the writers are giving Jeffrey a way out if he needs one. I think that could be what other people are picking up on as well.

    Also let me just clairify something that I said in the last post. I thought the Mallet/Marina moment was cute and fun, but I don't really wanna see them end up together. I didn't like her being with Alan-Michael and I don't want to see her being with Mallet either, but the girl needs a happy moment once in a while, and realizing that Mallet things she a babe gave her it. I think bringing Shayne back to be with Marina might be something the writers could consider.

    I do agree that Josh has lost his passion. I don't know if anyone else was around for it, but Josh started out on the show as a jerk. Maybe that's the way they should have went with him instead of bringing him to the cloth (to paraphrase). If they really wanted a minister that badly just give Steven a bigger part of Father Ray for that matter.

    I didn't mean to sound negative. I love it here! Anyway, I agree with your comments. Marina needs a man. I think Shane could be coming back. He was either a device to put Reva and Josh together at Christmas or that was signal of a potential return. It would be nice to see Jonathan interact with his siblings...oh wait...he'll be gone again. I hate this. It's such a teaser.

    Off the comment about Mallet...doesn't it look like they're going to make Dinah manic again if she has to fight for Mallet? I'm tired of people fighting for their partners. They should have more confidence in themselves.

    As for R and J, I hope you're all wrong. I love Reva and Jeffrey...say it ain't so! They're the only ones left with spice.

    Super, I think that if they finally put Lizzie and Bill together for good, they would have spice as well. But you're right, right now it's only Jeffrey and Reva who bring flare to the couples on the show. Which is why they are so fun.

    Honestly, I'm not a Bill fan, not a Daniel Cosgrove fan either. Didn't like him on 90210 and don't like him here. That apart, I don't like the character they're writing. He's too much of a jerk. Depending on how they write off Jonathan, I can buy the pair but he's got to stop sleeping around and making deals. Either way, it'll be awhile. In all honesty, I didn't really warm up to Jonathan until, well it started when he stopped Coop and Lizzie's wedding, and then Tammy's death scene...just because I was impressed by the acting.

    I think that they felt they needed to have someone be a jerk besides Alan on the show, since they've kinda made everyone else into nice guys. The men I mean. Some of the guys will do jerky things, ie Gus breaking up with Harley and jumping right into a relationship with Natalia, but for the most part they are all harmless aside from Alan. Even Cyrus who they could have turned into a real heel, they made into a good guy.
    As for Jonathan, as long as they don't kill him off, I'm happy. Although I really would like for him to stay long term.

    By the way, I don't watch the episodes until the weekend so forgive me for not commenting on current episodes.

    I felt the same way about Daniel Cosgrove until he recently came back. I LOVE him as Bill now and I LOVE him and Lizzie together. BUT, I also love Jonathan and Lizzie too. The love triangle has so many possibilities!!!

    One thing I'd like to rant about is Dylan. I know that lots of people don't like that Brian Gaskill is now playing him but I don't think that he's been given the chance to strive as Reva's oldest. I don't like that they've brought back a rich character and then swept him under the rug the very next day. NOW he runs Lewis and we never see him (still)!

    I have never been a fan of Brian Gaskill. I remember when he was on Models, Inc. and later Port Charles. His acting just doesn't do it for me. It seems that Brian's Dylan is too young to have been with Harley. I think they should bring back the old Dylan. Was his name Morgan Englund? I loved him in that role, especially when he was with Bridget! Why bring him back and not give him a good story? I hate it when they do that!
    Btw- just watched today's ep, disliking Harley so much right now....ahhahhh!!!!!

    I'm with you here! I loved the old Dylan. So annoying to go with this "young, hip" version who is just wood on screen. I can't affirm if it's just the writing or if its his ability too because I haven't seen the rest of his work but it really is terrible. It's also weird when the old Dylan had just recently been back to visit with Reva's cancer storyline. As for Harley...must they butcher all my favorites? They're all at fault. Marina jumps to Mallet and back to Cyrus. Harley is guilty of all she was upset with Gus about...particularly the part of rebounding. Cyrus...idiot...so much potential gone.

    Now I'm not saying I didn't love Morgan's Dylan. I had such a thing for him when he first came onto the show. But I do feel that you've got to give an actor/character a chance when a part is recast. It's not the actors fault that the writers and PTB behind a show brought them in to play a part. But if they were just gonna have Dylan show up at random moments on the show then why not go with with Morgan. I'm sure that Brian isn't too happy that he's been so far back burnered that he can't even get a slow boil. I see that the guy's got talent but he's not being given any chance to show it. I thought that maybe when they put him in control of Lewis that he'd get a few minutes air time a week, but suddenly the company isn't important any longer. I will say this... Dylan and Bill are supposed to be many years apart, but Brian and Daniel look too close in age for my taste.

    Okay wait, someone has got to tell me if they noticed this as well...

    Sarah is walking, right? So why, when Alan had her at Spaulding mansion, did she look like this tiny thing? And then again in Friday's episode??? Why?

    Also, Tammy's ghost has a split personality. With Jonathan she's all "revenge isn't good" but with her mom she's all "someone betrayed you" what's up with that!

    I think "Tammy" is whatever Jonathan and Cassie are thinking at that time. Jonathan knows that keeping Sarah away was wrong so his mind thinks of Tammy that way. Cassie is just crazy lately, so that is why Tammy is giving her bad advice I think. Cassie is really getting on my nerves lately! She needs to go away for a while and take her sick kid with her!

    I hate it when they use fake babies! They do that for Sarah and for "Bernadette"! I really hope they change Bernadette's name too. I know it's after Bert, but it is not a common name anymore, give her something a little more modern! I'm sure Alan will fix that!

    I MUST go back to this Sarah issue. During one of the episodes this past week Alan was looking at pictures of Emma, Sarah, and Bernadette and it was so obvious that the kid in the picture of Sarah wasn't that adorable little girl that we have been seeing all along. Why oh why did they have to chance her to this younger version! I hate it!

    I absolutely HATE Harley right now!! She used to be one of my favorite characters, especially when she was with Gus, but her character has gone so downhill. Sleeping with and actually thinking you are "in love" with your niece's boyfriend?! What the hell, hot low can you actually go?? Marina should just smack her Aunt and loose the bum and find her someone who will treat her right.

    Harley is definitely getting more and more on my nerves with this whole Cyrus thing. Especially when she brings up her panic attacks. She has hardly been there for her children, it's no wonder that Rick is threatening to take Jude away! Harley is a long way from being redeemed in my opinion!
