Robert Downey Jr. makes a return appearance to the show, but it's débuts all-round for Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael Aspel and The Ting Tings.

In 1999 Gwyneth won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Shakespeare In Love. For the movie she also won a Golden Globe for ‘Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture-Comedy/Musical’ and SAG awards for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Cast and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role‘. (edit) Gwyneth had a Labrador Retriever named Holden. After her longtime canine companion passed away, she took comfort in the thought that his late father Bruce would be able to walk with her dog in heaven. (edit) Gwyneth and husband, Chris, celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah in 2006. Gwyneth wants their children to be brought up understanding their proud Jewish background. Gwyneth is keen to teach daughter Apple and son Moses about her father Bruce's Jewish roots that she has created a special family tree for them. Bruce is a descendant of a famous family line which has produced 33 rabbis over several generations. (edit) In August 2006, Gwyneth starred in an advertising campaign for the African charity ‘Keep A Child Alive’. The charity aims to help protect African children from AIDS and HIV. Gwyneth: (considering if she will have a third child in the future) I may force myself to do it one more time because the result is so worth it. And also my late dad Bruce said to me that his only regret in life was that he had only two children and he didn't have more. (edit) Gwyneth: From the beginning, my kids have eaten organic. I make a lot of their foods myself. Some people say it sounds difficult, but I don't find it so. The more I learn about food, the more amazed I am at how their properties can basically fix anything. My main feeling is that the more you keep the body as pure and healthy as possible, the healthier you will be. I feel that eating well is the best start for living well. (edit) Gwyneth: (commenting on her daughter, Apple's, name) It sounded so sweet and it conjured such a lovely picture for me- you know, apples are so sweet and they're just wholesome and it's biblical - and I just thought it sounded so lovely and... clean! And I just thought, "Perfect!" (edit) Gwyneth: Being a housewife is definitely the hardest job. (edit) Gwyneth: (on her daughter Apple) Nothing is as good as hanging out with her. She's a riot. She's such a happy, well-adjusted person. I must be doing something right. (edit)
