Miley Cyrus stars as Hannah Montana, a teenager who lives a secret life as a pop star. Cyrus' real life dad, country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus, plays her dad and manager. Miley just moved from Tennessee as a country singer and now has to adapt to life in Malibu. The show includes original music recorded by its star, Miley. Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment star as the friends of Miley who know her big secret and Jason Earles stars as Miley's brother.

Characters:

Miley: She doubles as a pop star, Hannah Montana! Not always being able to hang out with friends, she makes up for it in limos, premieres, and celebrity sightings! Miley tries to avoid the press and her screaming fans. She can use her pop star ability against others sometimes...

Oliver: This cool, crazy, Casanova of Seaview Middle School is in love with Hannah Montana and worships her. He may always be just Oliver. He goes to any lengths to see Hannah including sneaking into her dressing room, getting in her drum, and going in through the limo roof! Oliver is Miley's friend.

Lilly: Lilly is the loud, energetic friend of Miley. She enjoys all of the fun that being a pop star's friend brings. Though she still needs to adapt to being backstage, Hannah is there to keep her in line. Lilly is Miley's friend.

Jackson: He may be the craziest one. Asking dad for money, impressing girls, (or at least trying) and doing everything the hard way is what he is all about. He is Miley's brother.

Robbie: Miley's dad has to be the dad and the mom of the family which includes cleaning and discipline. But along with that, Robbie also tries to spend some time with the kids and be the cool parent. Robbie is also Hannah's manager.less «

  Going downhill fast!! hide « show »

  I hate to admit it but I used to really like the show but know it has gone so down hill I can safely say that I hate the show. I mean in the beginning it was pretty good and funny but now it's just stupid. The secret she is supposedly suppose to keep a secret is silly I mean it's getting easier and easier for people to find out and that episode were she tells that girl her secret just to get out of jail was gay By the way that girl was so annoying I HATED her. It's dumb that even though it's a show that its weird how no extras would know she Hannah Montana even the limo drivers must that she's Miley,God it's a gay show!
  PS: what's with Billy Ray wearing a chick's head band in the whole radio episode jeeze.
  I give the show 3/10.

  I used to like this show, but now my feelings for it have greatly changed, and not for the better. (no offence to any fans) hide « show »

  This series first aired when I was 12 years old. And when it did, I'm embarrassed to say that I liked it. But now, as I said before, my feelings about Hannah Montana have changed dramtically. First of all, on the show, Hannah is apparently the most popular pop singer among, well, just about everyone. But in real life I don't know one girl or boy over the age of 12 who likes her as a singer. That includes me. There's only one song that I really like that she sung and that is If We Were a Movie. Now as for the actual show Hannah Montana, is it just me or has this show changed from when it started? As the seasons went on Miley went from a "normal" every day girl to someone who acts like a winy, bratty 6 year old girl instead of 16 year old. What I mean is, did you see the one where she had to get her filling replaced or some kind of thing like that? Oh my God, she acted like a baby in that one! I mean, I hate shots too, but I'd never run out of the dentist office or cry for Mom or Dad like she did. That's not the only time, but I just don't feel like listing the rest. There's only been really a few episodes I've liked from this show. Also, Miley is said to be potraying a normal teenager, but she doesn't act normal to me. She's really bratty most of the time and when she's not doing something related to Hannah Montana, she's fighting with Jackson, her brother. In just about every episode now they're fighting CONSTANTLY, and it gets on my friggen nerves! If you ask me, the only thing that makes this show worth watching is Jackson. He is so funny, in my opinion. Also, Disney Channel obsesses over this like it's treasure or something. In fact, it's become a new logo for Disney practically. When I think of Disney now, the first thing that comes to my mind is Hannah, not Mickey Mouse! So anyway, I hope I didn't offend anyone, because I wasn't trying to. All I was doing was saying how I feel about this show. Teen_Tomboy, out!

  I love Hannah Montana and she is a great person in real life.This show really explains how hard it is to have a double life.Keep it up Miley.I love all the songs that are being sung in this show.I just can`t get enough of Miley`s songs.There are some I don`t like but most of them are songs I do like.Sometimes I wish like Miley because I think being a famous person is the best thing that would happen to me.I think Miley is a very lucky girl because she gets all the popularity she wants even though I am popular too.

  This show is a serious insult for our intelligence. Right from the start. We have Miley, a sweet, geeky kid, who has a split personality- Hannah Montana, a kid pop star and idol. And she tries to keep her identity a secret. How? By wearing a wig and talking like a moron. If you haven't run away yet, wait, there's more. Apparently, her plan succeeds, because everyone who knows her is just too dumb to notice their star is in school with a different hairstyle. Miley gets to enjoy both lives. Wait, enjoy? As a teen idol she enjoys the hell out of it, but as a normal kid she suffers bullying and ignorance. Her best friends know she is the said famous singer. All of this just raises the question- why does she try to hide her identity? Why, when she can have all the fame in the world, she chooses to live as a kicked puppy? If she can speak normally, why does she speak like an idiot when the wig comes off? if they haven't realized she's Hannah yet, they never will.
  I only recommend watching this show if your life depends on it, otherwise- just stay away from it. it'll cause you severe brain damage.

  Hannah Montana is a great show for funny, goofy, entertainment! My wife and I are in our 40's and we enjoy it more than most of the shows on the air these days. Miley Cyrus and her father do a great job with this show. hide « show »

  Hannah Montana is a great show for funny, goofy, entertainment! My wife and I are in our 40's and we enjoy it more than most of the shows on the air these days. Miley Cyrus and her father do a great job with this show. It's funny to see a show that is similar to the star's actual life. The show kind of makes you feel young again! There is also a good supporting cast of characters with her television brother, Jackson, and her best friend, Lilly, and others. The current Hannah Montana movie which is running now is also very good. It is based on the television show. My wife and I went to see it recently and there were actually people clapping their hands during and after the show. People were having fun watching the credits roll along with some reserve footage and everybody had fun at that movie!
