Al is upset after the baseball team loses to Sally's Knit and Yarn Shop 24-3 after he paid $65.00 for new caps and T-shirts. A pregnant woman named Louisa Corrigan comes in looking for Richie. She tells Richie she's looking for Fonzie. Fonzie comes in to meet Louisa and, after seeing she is pregnant, tells her his name is Potsie Weber. At the house, Marion helps Joanie with her suitcase, and Howard sits on it to help get it closed. Fonzie comes in and asks Howard if he can have a houseguest while they are away on vacation. Louisa's husband, Danny Corrigan, is a very good friend of Fonzie's. Richie offers her Joanie's bedroom while she is away. Fonzie tells Richie that he has the responsibility of keeping an eye on her. Richie doesn't think that is fair. Fonzie suggests that he and Richie tell each other about their plans for the evening, and the one with the more interesting night leaves. The other has to stay with Louisa. Fonzie has a date with all of the Aloha Pussycats while Richie was only going to Arnold's, so Fonzie gets to leave. Potsie and Ralph come to the house to tell Richie that they have a girl for him in the car. Potsie calls in a girl named Brenda who is Miss Trout. Richie is upset with Fonzie for leaving him in the situation where he can't go anywhere. Fonzie comes in. Richie wants to fight, and he calls Fonzie a nerd. Louisa goes into labor, and Richie and Fonzie scramble around not knowing what to do. Richie goes upstairs to get Louisa's suitcase and falls down the stairs. They leave through the kitchen door (the front door is swelled shut) to go to the hospital. The hospital is having a retirement party that night, and a nurse puts a party hat on Fonzie. While in the waiting area, Fonzie and Richie discuss their earlier dispute. Richie says he doesn't really want to be a "nice guy." Fonzie apologizes for sticking Richie with Louisa. A nurse comes out with Louisa's baby boy.
