Richie, Joanie, Howard, and Marion sort photos for a family album. Marion and Howard trade photos of themselves that they don't like and tear them up. Fonzie returns from a stock-car race. He has been in a wreck and talks to the family about it. Fonzie realizes that anyone's number can come up at any time. Fonzie says he won't do so many exciting things. He thinks about giving up his motorcycle and getting a DeSoto. Fonzie says he will be just like Richie and subscribe to National Geographic. Fonzie comes on his motorcycle into Arnold's after jumping over two cars. Fonzie says living like Richie got boring. Ralph and Potsie leave to go home for dinner. Richie tells Fonzie that there must be a "happy medium" between being dull and risking his neck. Richie sits on Fonzie's motorcycle and makes some sound effects. Fonzie talks to Richie and says he thinks he has a problem. Fonzie says he has everything covered except for one thing: home plate (Heaven). Al comes over to suggest that Fonzie talk to his brother, Anthony, who is a priest. Fonzie visits the church and thinks Anthony is Al (Anthony and Al are identical twins). Fonzie tells Anthony about his experience at the stock-car race on Saturday. Anthony suggests they talk more while he shows Fonzie his '37 Chevy. At the house, Richie brings down a photo album that has pictures of Howard's old girlfriends (both of them). Fonzie comes in and announces that on Sunday the 17th, he is getting baptized. Fonzie asks Howard and Marion to be his godparents. Prior to the ceremony, Fonzie tells Anthony that he wants to make a speech. Al cries at the ceremony. Richie, Potsie, Ralph, and Joanie sing as Fonzie is baptized. Fonzie says a few words at the conclusion of the ceremony. Everyone sings hymn number 64 ("Faith Of Our Fathers"). Richie and the guys talk to some girls at Arnold's and have a dance with them.
