Richie asks Fonzie if he wants to play some poker with them that night from midnight to dawn while his parents are out of town. Fonzie declines. Richie and Potsie decide to take naps in the living room to get ready for the big poker night. They can't sleep, so they decide to play some basketball. A girl, Ruth, stops at the house and tells them that she and her friends are having some car trouble. After taking a look at the car, Fonzie determines that the girls need a new distributor for $35. However, they only have $37.50 (only $2.50 would remain for a motel room). Fonzie takes one of the girls (Penny) for a ride on his motorcycle. Potsie offers to let the girls stay at Richie's house for the night. The third girl (Chris) asks for a drink, and Richie opens up the bar. Ralph comes over to the house after he hears the poker game was cancelled. Chris gives Potsie a massage, and Penny returns to the house. When they go to bed, Richie and Potsie try to get the girls' attentions by knocking on the wall, walking in the hallway, and laughing hysterically. They decide they will lie to Fonzie and Ralph the next day about what didn't happen. Howard and Marion return at 7:00 the next morning and are surprised to see the three girls in their home. The girls leave in their yellow convertible later that day.
