Potsie comes out of the bathroom at Arnold's with a loosened cap on his tooth. He ate meatloaf at school and bit down on a bone. He saved the bone that was in the meatloaf. Richie also complains about the quality of the food at school since they hired a new cook and thinks about writing a story for the school newspaper. Fonzie says he should write it, but Ralph and Potsie aren't so sure about it. Fonzie leaves with a blond. At the house, Richie comes in and tells his parents about the story: "Tables Turned on School Cafeteria." Howard says there are holes in his story. Richie goes to the cafeteria wearing a disguise to collect evidence and hears Curly and Louie (the cook) talk about their plans to switch the good meat with bad meat so that they can sell the good meat to a restaurant. Richie pretends to be a janitor named Grover Lindquist who is a foreign exchange student from Sweden. Richie is about to take some pictures of the meat when Fonzie comes in. Richie explains what the cook is doing with the meat. He gives Fonzie the camera to take some pictures while he goes to look at the books. Fonzie is petrified when he sees liver on the table. Fonzie leaves. Curly and Louie spot Richie with the camera before he is able to leave. He says that the pictures are for his cousin, and he manages to get out. Richie "Scoop" Cunningham and the guys sign some autographs at Arnold's after his story makes the front page of The Jefferson Crier. Richie writes a follow-up story, and Fonzie wants him to delete the part about his fear of liver. Richie refuses, and Fonzie says that they are no longer friends. Fonzie comes to the Cunninghams, fixes Marion's sewing machine, and snubs Richie before leaving. Richie and Howard talk, and Howard reasons with Richie about not printing the information about Fonzie. There is a Turkey Hop at Arnold's, and nobody is dancing. Ralph says that Fonzie wants it quiet. Richie goes into Fonzie's office to talk. Richie says he's cutting Fonzie's liver-phobia out of the article. Fonzie says that he was so upset with Richie because, although there were a lot of people who tried to take the mask off of the Lone Ranger, Tonto never tried. Fonzie and Richie come out, and Fonzie livens up the crowd. The guys (with Al) sing "Sh-boom," and everyone dances.
