Notes

add »
Despite claims that the snake armor will make He-Man more powerful, as we soon see, it actually seems to make him weaker. He-Man is trounced this episode, and in subsequent episodes, he gets blasted and even given addtional armor to assist in a mission. So much for extra power... (edit)
Stinkor's line, "Aw, the sweet smell of victory," is a nod to the first episode where he officially appeared in, obviously titled The Sweet Smell of Victory. (edit)
With this episode, Brian Dobson plays a character on all three factions. He plays a Master (Buzz-Off), an Evil Warrior (Skeletor) and a Snakeman (King Hiss). (edit)
With this episode we get a glimpse at inner workings of Triklops' head gear. Apparantly, the device hooks into his eyes which enables him to see. (edit)
A new intro starts with this episode, eliminating the similar intro speech from the original series. (edit)

Quotes

Skeletor: Who dares to sit upon my throne!!??
King Hiss: MY throne, I King Hiss, the true ruler of Eternia, have reclaimed Snake Mountain for my own.
Skeletor: Oh? You and what army?
*the Snake Man army appears all around them* (edit)
Kobra Khan: Skeletor will be a problem, we must first battle past his armies...
Evil Lyn: *chuckles* Not necessarily... (edit)
King Hiss: Kneel before your new king!
Skeletor: Never! (edit)

Trivia

add »
Triklops has a section of his head gear melted away by Kobra Kahn but in the shots before he, Whiplash and Clawful are turned to stone, it's intact. (edit)
