This episode is on the Warner Brothers 50th Anniversary DVD, Volume 1. (edit) Sarah not only doesn't appear, but the pilot in syndication shows alternate end show credits, with a still of the class she is not in. Probably in syndication, they used later versions of opening credits with the actress (Kimberly Russell) in them, despite this originally (?) having a different version also. (edit) The character of Sarah (Kimberly Russell) doesn't exist in the pilot episode. But in the second episode, there she is, with no explanation. (edit)
