Heather Locklear was born on September 25th, 1961 to Bill and Diane Locklear. She was born the youngest of four children, her siblings being Laurie, Colleen, and Mark. Heather went to Newbury Park High School in Newbury Park, then moved on to attend UCLA, majoring in psychology. During her first year at college, she caught the eye of a casting director and was persuaded to take a commercial acting class. She started to model for the school store, then got her first role in a TV movie in 1979.

In 1980, Heather got her first TV role, on a show called CHiPs. When Aaron Spelling cast her in the show Dynasty in 1982, her fame skyrocketed. Heather had her first movie role in Firestarter, a 1984 film starring Drew Barrymore. On May 10th, 1986, Heather married Tommy Lee of the rock group Mötley Crüe, divorcing him seven years later on August 16th, 1993. Also in 1993, Heather began her role in Melrose Place, another Aaron Spelling TV show. Heather re-married on December 17th, 1994, this time to Richie Sambora of the rock group Bon Jovi.

Heather gave birth to her only child, Ava Elizabeth, on October 4th, 1997. In 1999 after Melrose Place had ended its run, Heather went on to star in the popular sitcom Spin City until its cancellation in 2002. In 2004, she starred in the short-lived NBC series LAX. Heather filed for divorce from her second husband Richie Sambora in February 2006, although the two had officially been separated since December 2005. The divorce became final in April of 2007. Heather Locklear cuffed by cops in SoCal
Heather Locklear's troubles continue. The pin-up beauty and star of Melrose Place and Spin City was arrested in Southern California on Saturday after a passerby phoned the cops and reported Locklear driving erratically in a parking lot, says TMZ.com.

Heather Locklear is a Spelling favourite, being in almost everything that he has produced or directed. She was my personal favourite as Garths dream woman in Waynes World 2, and as Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place. She has also been in programmes such as Scrubs. She is so perfect she was constantly branded as special guest star in the six seasons she was in Melrose Place. She really does need to do more TV. She was married to Tommy Lee at some point but we can forgive her for that. She is a spectacularly talented actress, who is very sexy for the older woman !

I've been following the career of Heather Locklear since the mid-1980's. she was hot vack then, and 20 years later she still hot. I writing this review because I can't say no to a gorgous woman like Heather Locklear. I'm in love with her and I wrote several letters of support. I even wrote to her in 2006. sometimes when I see a picture of her, I just can't taske my eyes off her. God may have made Heather Locklear and he made also have broke the mode. She is one actress that i would love to stare at. And I'll ignore the rule about staring at celebrities.

Back in the days of TJ Hooker & Dynasty she was a tv producers dream, she was blonde & bright with a breezy air to her. Post Dynasty she endured a lull in her acting career until she guested in the ailing Melrose Place. Apparently she saved the show, I thought Marcia Cross did that & she didn't even get the recognition. Heather on the other hand was permanently billed as a special guest star, ridiculous. When MP ended she hotfooted it to Spin City for Michael J Fox's last season. After Fox's departure this popular sitcom paled & became a vehicle for Heather & new co star Charlie Sheen. After 2 seasons this revamped show was cancelled. Unfortunately Heather has surfaced on our screens in Scrubs, ads for L'oreal & the short lived LAX (fortunately I live in the UK & wasn't subjected to this offering). Note to L'oreal she's not worth it.
