Lloyd:(to Charlie): Who won Best Actor in 1981?
Sheriff: She's not Google, Lloyd! (edit) Mrs. Suresh: I know you miss him. And I know you feel guilty, too. Don't.
Mohinder: I had a dream last night. You and father were talking before he left. In it, you persuaded him to go.
Mrs. Suresh: It's just a dream, Mohinder.
Mohinder: No; I need to know if it was true.
Mrs. Suresh: Your father and I were married for 33 years.
Mohinder: That is not an answer.
Mrs. Suresh: Yes it is; a marriage doesn't last that long without allowing the other person to be who he has to be. (edit) Mr. Bennet: (to Isaac) Fourteen years ago there was just such a case, which sadly ended in a death. A woman left behind a baby girl who had no one to take care of her. (edit) Eden: Isaac. This is Mr. Bennet, the man I told you about.
Mr. Bennet: Hello, Isaac. Drawing anything interesting?
Isaac: It's nothing.
Mr. Bennet: Oh, you know that's not true. You have the ability to paint the future. That's something. Something very important.
Isaac: Feels like a curse.
Mr. Bennet: No, it's a blessing. Don't let anybody tell you differently. We're gonna help you understand that. (edit) Matt: I'm hearing things that I should not be hearing.
Ted: Like what?
Matt: Things that could ruin lives. Things that...could end marriages. (edit)

Both Matt and Ted Sprague (the radioactive man) have an identical distinctive mark on their shoulder. Matt's is on the right one and Ted's is on the left one.
(edit)
Jayma Mays, the actress who started playing Charlie in a three-episode arc on Heroes in this episode, is currently playing a character with the same name on Ugly Betty.
(edit)
Early in the episode they show a building that they say is Chennai University. It is, however, the City Palace, which is located in Jaipur. Also, in the street scenes in Chennai there is evidence of a lot of Hindi writing, however, in Chennai, there is virtually no Hindi writing in the streets. Tamil is the language there.
(edit)
The place Charlie works is called Burnt Toast Diner on the subtitles, but the sign on their window says Burnt Toast Cafe.
(edit)
When filling out the crossword puzzle, there is no way the sheriff could have gotten the letters he has without either knowing the word he was looking for or the words which intercept it.
(edit)
Lloyd(to Charlie): Who won Best Actor in 1981?
Sheriff: She's not Google, Lloyd!
Referring to www.google.com, the most popular web search site. (edit) The final shot of this episode (a long, slow pan into a series of photographs to one particular photo leading to the discovery of a character now located in a party in the past) is reminiscent of the final shot of Stanley Kubrick's influential horror classic The Shining. (edit) Charlie is bringing the sheriff and his deputy their breakfast order
Charlie: Anything else, Sheriff? [Insistently] Lloyd?
Sheriff: Uh huh. A gun to shoot Will Shortz.
Will Shortz is the present Puzzle Editor of the New York Times. Although Mr. Shortz does not construct the puzzles (decide which words go into the puzzle itself), he does determine which puzzles are published, and when they are to be published, depending on difficulty (Mondays are the easiest puzzle of the week, which then increase in difficulty until the Sunday Crossword).
(edit) Kanyakumari, India
Kanyakumari is the southern-most point of the Indian peninsula, so as Mohinder says, it is the "edge of the world."
Kanyakumari was also the answer Charlie (the waitress) gave the cop to solve the crossword puzzle question "Gandhi burial ground, 11 letters". (edit) Chapter Title: "Seven Minutes to Midnight"
The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists created the "Doomsday Clock" in 1947 and started it at 7 minutes to midnight. It's a symbol of nuclear danger and moves back and forth through both negative and positive world events. The closest it's ever come to midnight was in 1953 where it was 2 minutes to midnight. It currently stands at 5 Minutes to Midnight, having been advanced by 2 minutes on Jan. 17, 2007. (edit)
