Ghostman gone, was it just too ahead of it's time! Maybe a message from the other side will enlighten us all. hide « show »

High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman; Hilarious and shocking from start to finish. British comedy at it’s best, but too risky for the BBC. It was soon apparent after the first few episodes that the risqué comedy was just too much for some. The British tradition of pushing the boundaries of comedy had hit a boundary, which it seems, is not ready to be moved.
If you get chance to watch this show, watch it with an open mind and be prepared to cringe with awkward enjoyment. For some the content will shock and can appear insensitive.
Give it a go and make your own mind up.
