    My therapist says... hide show

These three little words help Faith gets whatever she wants while at home. She goes to see a therapist after Charlie and Hope suggest it, but leaves after one visit and pretends to go all the time. Hope and Charlie, of course, end up finding out, and try to help her admit why she is afraid of getting a job. She finally admits that she is afraid to because when she does, she won't be Faith Fairfield, actress, but Faith, employee. Even though this episode was a little obvious, it had some unexpected humor, and 30 minutes well spent!

Hope admits that she's scared to work in a normal job because then she's not a glorified actress anymore. hide show

I was really excited about this episode because of the potentially funny issues around therapy and Hayley confronting a bully. Instead we get more air time with Charlie's sarcasm (yes, we get it... he really hates his sister-in-law now lets let the other characters have interesting lines!) and Hayley fawned over as a "new, undiscovered beauty" because she straightening her curly locks. What a message to give young women with curly hair: "natural curly hair isn't as pretty as straight!" It would of been nice if one of the parent's would've said, "You know, I like your curly hair better." Now she's gotta get up a half hour earlier each morning just to be "pretty" for society. Okay, enough of that rant (I'm a curly grrl who hates it when people only compliment me when I straighten my hair.) Well, it was good to see Greg's mom (sorry don't remember the actresses name) from Dharma and Greg as the straight-forward therapist.
