NOTES

  • In every show they make an anvil is dropped on Weasel. edit »
  • The Red Guy's role: Joey B. Bare, the director. Also makes a cameo as a nurse in his own story "The Young and the Wrestlers". edit »
  • When Weasel holds up the script to the director, we see that it is a previous script for another show with the names "Bugs" and "Buster" scratched out. Guess this means that most of the cliches were taken from "Looney Tunes" and "Tiny Toon Adventures". It's doubly funny as you realize Charlie Adler, voice of Red, voiced Buster Bunny. Also, Red says right before the iris-out, "Hello, nurse". Though originated by Groucho Marx, this catchphrase is more commonly associated with Yakko, Wakko, and Dot of Animaniacs, another Warners property. edit »
  • Among the cliches used in the show are: dropping anvils, wild takes, the "screwball" sign, making the main characters babies (what show hasn't done this?), and dropping tons of other things on the characters (safes, rocks, you get the general idea. edit »
