    The building work on Alan's house is complete and Alan gives each of the builders a gift which looks suspiciously book-shaped. Sonja tells Alan she needs somewhere to live as her current abode is to be demolished to make way for an office block and Lynn gets baptised.

    Alan is being investigated by Inland Revenue and he's was worried about it. He's also worried because he's told Sonja that he is a friend of Bono. When Sonja ask him to introduce her to Bono Alan is stuck - that is until Lynn arrives with a man purporting to be Bono. Sonja isn't convinced.

    Never Say Alan Again

    Alan plans a Bond-athon for the bank holiday weekend with Michael. When he discovers that Michael has another friend Tex (real name Terry), who likes American things, Alan is upset and un-invites Michael.

    Alan homes in on John the builder to be his new friend, who he shows off to Michael. Sonja helps Alan to design a meticulous schedule for the Bond-athon, and is disgruntled when Lynn wants to delay the start of it to visit her mother's grave, as it is the first anniversary of her death. Alan agrees to it, giving her 10 minutes to grieve.

    Brave Alan

    Alan meets Dan at the garage: they drink the same beer, they use the same deodorant and both drive a Lexus. Dan owns Planet Kitchens and Alan immediately suggests a 25% discount on a new kitchen. When Alan visits Dan at home, his wife Ceri makes Alan feel very welcome indeed, her wandering hands gets within 30mm of his "gland".

    The Colour of Alan

    Alan is asked to present a sales conference for Dante's of Reading, a company which specialises in fireplaces. He also has a book signing at Norwich railway station (which unsurprisingly goes badly).

    After forgetting his security pass for Choristers Country Club, Alan tries to climb over the fence and skewers his foot on a spike. Alan tries to host the conference, but due to losing over a pint of blood, it goes even more badly than his book signing.

    The Talented Mr. Alan

    Alan's back and life is on the up: he's got the third best slot on Radio Norwich, a girlfriend and a Lexus. Back of the net!

    While at the garage, Alan meets Mr Raphael, a teacher from his school. He persuaded Mr. Raphael to let him give a talk to the sixth formers at the school where he is now the headmaster, but only after locking him in the garage.
