Man has searched the skies for centuries and has never come up with conclusive evidence to prove the existence of other forms of intelligent life. What if we have been looking in the wrong place? What if there were other forms of intelligent life already living among us? What if perceived natural disasters were really diversions created to conceal clandestine alien activities?

What if is no longer an if.

When a small town at the edge of the Florida Everglades is threatened by a raging hurricane, U.S. Park Ranger Russell Varon must go to great lengths to protect the small community and his family safe. During the storm his young daughter claims to have seen mysterious lights, seemingly unaffected by the gale-force winds, floating near the water. Varon dismisses the sighting, but begins to wonder if there really was some truth to the story after his missing ex-wife turns up naked and her memory of the storm is completely gone.

While the community begins to clean up after the storm and piece their lives back together, Varon begins to investigate the strange happenings as he tries to make sense of what is happening.

  There is no way ABC can justify canceling Invasion. V's last episode only pulled in 9.2 million viewers, whereas after 22 episodes and countless number of breaks, the last episode of Invasion managed to do better. I'm not criticising V, because I enjoy the show, however Invasion definitely had a better premise and actors, and I felt the story was just beginning. I don't think there's any chance of Invasion coming back after so long, but when I see a show so similar on primetime TV, it makes me even more annoyed. I'm certainly expecting ABC to cancel V because it should be treated the same as Invasion and any other axed shows. ABC don't care for their audiences and it's a shame a great show had to be treated the way it was. I feel sorry the writer and all the cast and crew, ABC have destroyed have destroyed a few careers. less

  Some Internet trolls seem to be preying on the hopes of Invasion fans by posting false rumors about the return of the series. No authoritative source has posted any such story. The two primary actors, William Fichtner and Eddie Cibrian, are associated with other network television series, making it highly unlikely that either would be available to return to Invasion . Frankly, there is no point in bringing the show back without either of those two actors, especially William Fichtner. Someone posted a false announcement on the Wikipedia article for the series. That information has now been corrected. (See the other thread for reasons to be wary of any such announcements posted on Wikipedia, unless there is a link to the primary source.) Please analyze any such rumors and announcements carefully. Unless a reliable source is cited and linked to, such announcements are likely to be false. The unavailability of William Fichtner and Eddie Cibrian means that Invasion has about a zero percent chance of being revived in the immediate future. This is not to say that at some point, the main actors and producers couldn't get together and revive the show, but it's much more difficult to do so in a series that relies upon an ensemble cast. I know of at least two other network series that were partially revived years later ( Hunter and The Pretender ) but both of those shows had relatively few main characters. It was possible to revive those shows with only two or three of the main actors. Maybe Invasion could be revived in a different format, with one group of survivors chasing Tom. Moving the story away from the town could allow the writers to explain the absence of many of the characters, but they would still need Fichtner and Cibrian. Otherwise, it would feel like a completely unrelated show or TV movie, like those direct-to-DVD sequels you see on discount shelves. If anyone comes across one of these rumors, think it through. Does the announcement make any sense at all? If not, then chalk it up as an Internet troll taking advantage of the confusion caused by the writers' strike and feeding off the misdirection of television fans who don't have many new shows to watch these days.less

  i just did a revisit of the invasion tv show today since i have bought the season one dvd. the last episode was one of the best and the most intense episodes of invasion so far. but they have left us hanging on a cliffhang for years now without knowing nothing of what will happen next. keeping us on this cliffhang for years seems pretty unfair to us all. as all you other sci-fi buffs out there i also watch the tv shows heros and lost. the heros tv show have fallen apart with season 2 and continue to fall with season 3, and are now come to a certain point where the writers are just writing to write something to keep it afloat, since there aint no magic anymore. the tv show lost have just lost its path with its season five and hopefully will end with season six and not drag on forever. i think now is the perfect time to bring back invasion again with second season. to help out if you want invasion to return you can sign the petition.. http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?33030 less

  I miss this show and need closure. Maybe, it should be brought to the big screen for closure on the story line. It could last as long as Star Trek! hide show

  I can hardly believe that they have canceled yet another show that is very entertaining and keeps you on the edge of your seat. My husband and I both enjoyed watching this show and would discuss what we thought would happen next. Is there anyone listening to what the viewers wants and not putting on more reality shows and silly sitcoms that make women look stupid. I would like to see how the characters evolve and handle their new lives as being hybrids. This story got shelved because of being so close to hurricane season and it needs another chance!

  The overall idea of this show was great and the plot got me coming for more every week. I have to say that the first episodes tended to be a bit slow but, as the season progressed, things started to heat up. The characters were quite well played, actually some were fabulous! William Fichtner, as Sheriff Tom Underlay, kept the story alive and mysterious. Tyler Labine, as Dave, was the one who helped us put all the pieces together after every episode. Also, I have to say that I loved Ariel Grade, as Rose. For such a young girl, she did a superb job. Hope to see more of her in the future. The sad thing is the show was canceled and left us with a huge cliffhanger and plenty of questions. I believe it should be brought back! I am not a big fan of sci-fi, but this show and Jericho have made me closer to the genre.

  Was so excellent that I liked being invaded hide show

  Good actors, no standard heroes, good background stories, just the right amount of mystery. I loved how the character of the sheriff revealed it's secrets as it developed from the suspicious may-be-alien to a almost normal person. The first few episodes were kind of slow as they built up the characters backgrounds and went for some chemistry and unfortunately that coupled with a lot of pre-empts from the network eroded the audience but for those who stayed it was well worth the time invested. "Invasion" inspires the imagination with a level of creativity that you rarely see on the network.

  What was that? hide show

  The basis of this show is exactly what killed it. I will say the show had some decent acting, but I must say that it was all for nothing. Every time I saw this show, it made no sense. There was no sense of flow or buzz. It was always about surprise factor or scary moments. The one thing I actually thought was interesting was the previews and that says plenty. Maybe it would have been better had the show actually worked on character development rather than trying for cheap storylines and plots. Overall, I didn't like the show too well. Thank you.

  Good sci fi all around hide show

  ok ... so I finally watched the WHOLE season ... I was unable to watch it on air because I lost power for 2 1/2 weeks thanks to Hurricane Wilma. I recently bought it and watched it and LOVED IT! Sad though at the ending and how there is no closure!!! What happened with Larkin? And the baby? And Tom??? The town and family??? These kinds of things need to be resolved - like SURFACE - good up til then end and then it leaves you screaming COME ON!!! WHATS GOING ON??? WHAT HAPPENED!!!! Just one more episode please. ONE!
