Irene Molloy is the oldest of 5 children, having 4 younger sisters. Her father is a computer analyst and her mother is a neo-natal nurse.
Irene has acheived success on Broadway and has made name for herself in television. While she was a senior in high school, she landed the lead in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "Whistle Down the Wind", which had a limited run in Washington, D.C.
After graduating from high school in 1996, she moved to New York City. Within a year after moving to NY, she landed on Broadway, appearing in the play, "The Civil War", in which she was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award, and a musical version of "Romeo and Juliet", in the lead role of Juliet. She also earned an Outer Critics Circle Nomination for Outstanding Featured Actress for her role in the play "Whistle Down the Wind".
Following her success on Broadway, she moved to Hollywood, and landed the role of Hunter in "Grosse Pointe"(2000). Besides acting, Irene has writes her own songs, and hopes to have an album soon. After the cancellation of "Grosse Pointe", she went on to appear in "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" (2002), playing Wendy, an office receptionist and fixation of Andy Richter.
