Isla won the 2006 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance for her role in Wedding Crashers. (edit) Isla's name is pronounced "Eye-luh." (edit) After being raised without a religion, Isla converted to Judaism in preparation for her marriage to Sacha Baron Cohen. She studied the religion for three years before she converted to it. (edit) Isla ranked #91 in Maxim's 2007 Hot 100 List. (edit) After announcing her pregnancy in early 2007, Isla and her partner Sacha Baron Cohen welcomed their first child, a baby girl into the world on October 19, 2007 in Los Angeles. They named her Olive, a name they didn't decide upon until after her birth so as not to jinx her birth. (edit)

But these days, it's more like getting in the car and realising the burp cloth is still on my left shoulder. When I was nine I wanted to get married in fairy wings, and now I realize that's not cool anymore. Acting, you're told where to stand, what to say and you're always being cut out of the exciting bit, where you could go anywhere and do anything with any character.
