J.C. Quinn began his career on the stage before beginning a film career in the late 1970s beginning with the role of Luther in On the Yard, which he landed in his late 30s. A series of film roles followed, including C.H.U.D., Big Business, Days of Thunder, All-American Murder, The Prophecy and Takedown, as well as a handful of television guest appearances in shows such as Moon Over Miami, Cheers, Quantum Leap and Cagney & Lacey. J.C.'s last appearance was in a 2000 episode of That's Life. On February 10, 2004, J.C. was killed in a car accident in Juarez, Mexico, at the age of 63. At the time of his death he had appeared in over fifty feature films.
