  • On June 7, 2003, actor Trevor Goddard (Mic Brumby)was found to have passed away at his Los Angeles home. The cause of death has been listed as an apparent drug overdose. His death occurred while the production crew was on hiatus for the summer. Actor John M. Jackson delivered the eulogy at the funeral.

At the end of this episode (the first since his death), the crew of Belisarius Productions and Paramount Studios inserted a heart-wrenching tribute to their friend. In saying goodbye, it seemed only right to use the scene at the end of the Season 5 episode, "Life or Death", where Mic walked out of McMurphy's Bar with the "JAG" staff all singing "Waltzing Matilda". edit »
  • [Harm is beeping the horn at a cow standing in the middle of the road]
Mac: How do you know it's a her?
Harm: She's obstinate, immune to reason and totally in the way ... Of course, we could always shoot her.
Mac: [sighs, before getting out of the car and coaxing the cow to move off the road]
Harm: What did you say to her?
Mac: I told her all about you. Like every woman you've ever known, she ran for her life.

  • Mac: You must know what I look like by now.
Harm: Right now you're a little bit blurry.
Mac: I always thought I must look that way to you. edit »
