(edit)
The SS Watertown also appeared in the episode "Silent Service."

Because of the concerns of many, many fans, the plot of Bud losing his leg was only part of the story & accomplished with special effects (blue-screen) technology. Actor Patrick Labyorteaux did not lose his leg or suffer any injury to it at all.

Lt. Jorgenson: It's a dirty nuke, sir! It could just be set to blow up at targeted co-ordinates!
Harm: Can't be, Lieutenant! That would ruin our day! (edit) Captain Yeratsov (to a sick man): I'm taking you back to Iran for medical treatment. We will kill Americans another day.
Kabir Atef: There will be no other day. We are all dead men. (edit) Lt. Singer: Gentlemen, I've got bad news and worse news.
Admiral Chegwidden: Then why the hell are you smiling?
Lt. Singer: I didn't realize that I was, sir. (edit) Bud: I'm in the middle of a war here, and all Harriet can talk about is sofa colors. (edit) Kabir Atef: You were born to this work.
Captain Yeratsov: No one is born to breathe recycled air in tin box under ocean. (edit)
