James started his career in acting when he was very young. While still at school he landed a part in a remake of Lord of the Flies.

Soon after in 1990 James was cast as the lead in the movie Radio Flyer, but unfortunately after two weeks of filming, production was stopped and the director was fired. James role was recast, and eventually given to Elijah Wood.

After this James stopped acting for around 10 years.

In 2002, James got cast in an independant film, Nola. From then on he has had roles although often relatively small, in several films and television shows.

He is probably best known for his role in the third season of 24. He played the character of Chase Edmunds, Jack Bauer's partner in the Field Ops division of CTU. His character was also having a relationship with Kim Bauer, Jacks daughter.

I have seen him play a serial killer, a rapist, and a hero who okays his hand being chopped off without pain meds for the greater good. The one thing that all of these had in common is the fact that they were all greatly acted. He takes roles that would probably be creepy and horrifying to watch if done by someone else but makes it were you can't turn away. You see him acting and get drawn into it. Most of the shows I saw him on aren't shows that I normally watch but was flipping through and saw him and got drawn in. Not just by his good looks. I didn't even realize that they were the same actor until later. He does an amazing job with all of his parts.

Badge is going from strength to strength. He's now been on all three CSI shows and next year we shall see him in The Departed, a mafia/cop movie directed by Scorsese.

Badge plays a cop in the film which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Jack Nicholson, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, Ray Winstone and many others. The Departed is a remake of the movie 'Internal Affairs'.

I first saw Badge on '24' and was amazed that such a young actor (he was only 25) could hold his own against the more seasoned actors. I miss him on the show but hope to see him in many other projects.

He's one of the few guest stars who has appeared on all three CSI shows. His portrayal of a rapist in CSI 'Committed' was brilliant, and I'm sure that was why he was asked back to CSI Miami and CSI NY. I look forward to seeing him in many more shows/movies.

This actor is very captivating and intriguing. He really keeps your interest. I recently saw him on a CSI and he was very convincing. I will keep my watch out for him! Some of the greatest actors are yet to be discovered. He is defintely one to watch out for.

Just saw Badge in CSI: Miami/CSI: NY crossover episodes and was blown away. He was positively chilling as serial killer Henry Darius. We have not seen the last of this character, yet. Nor, I hope, of this very talented actor. His ice-cold performance of a killer on a rampage was quite convincing, and the denoument with Henry and Mac will be talked about for a while, yet. Kudos, Badge!

He was also outstanding on 24 - Day 3, as Chase, and will be missed from the show. How's the hand, by the way?

I haven't seen anything else he's been in, but I'm definitely a new fan of his. I'm looking forward to seeing him in many diverse roles. Movies, TV, etc. Doesn't matter. We need more actors with this kind of range. Keep up the great work, sir. My hat's off to you.

Chase, or should I say JBD- where do I start? He was amazing in his role on 24 - Is this gorgeous, sexy, mysterious, and talented actor married? I would love to meet him! Not only did Season 3 captivate my attention, but Chase kept me coming back for more, and more, and more!
