Jane Seymour: probably best known for her role in Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman is a woman of diverse talents. Born Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenburg in 1951 to John Frankenberg (Doctor, Gynecologist) and Mieke Frankenberg (nurse), Jane has always pursued a wide variety of hobbies and activities. Beginning as a ballerina with aspirations of dancing with the Kirov Ballet (an accomplishment she achieved), she injured her knee at 17 and turned to acting.
Jane's first role as a chorus girl in Oh, What a Lovely War, led to a part in Captains & the Kings, but her big break came when she was cast as Bond girl "Solitaire" in Live and Let Die. After that, she appeared in a few theatrical movies, then took to the television audience, quickly becoming known as the "Queen of the Miniseries." Her most famous roles were in War and Remembrance, East of Eden, Live and Let Die, and the fantastic time travel movie Somewhere In Time.
Jane has 6 children: Kalen Keach (stepson), Jenny Flynn(stepdaughter), Katie Flynn (daughter), Sean Flynn (son), and twins John & Kristopher Keach. She has been married 4 times: #1 Geoffrey (Jeep) Planer; #2 Michael Attenborough; #3 David Flynn; #4 James Keach.
