Jane is probably best known for her role as Carol, Ross' ex-wife in Friends, but from the beginning she actually dreamed of being a writer. She is the youngest of five children to William Ryan Sibbett IV Gaines Sibbett. Jane was born in California but the family soon moved to the island of Alameda. Even though she aspired to writing, Jane so loved being able to lose her still shy self in acting. Therefore she applied to enter UCLA's theater program, where she studied under magnificent Jennifer Penny Rountree. Upon graduating from UCLA, Jane kept up acting, writing and co-producing several succesful plays in Los Angeles. in 1992 Jane married writer/producer/director Karl Fink and they remain busy working with one another whila caring for and their three children on an animal packed farm in Southern California.
