"Hair dresser and mother of 4 Lyn is typical working class wife and Mum. She tries to be there for all her kids triumphs and trials, especially her 3 girls trials with boys. She's also had trials of her own though when her new Boss Geeno tried to get rid of her because he wanted a younger look in the salon. Lyn fought back by setting up her own business and taking her clients with her. When this hit Geeno's takings he exposed Lyn as an illegal business, as she was operating without a licence. Lyn knew that Geeno needed her more than she him and made him sweat a bit before returning to the salon on her own terms. Lyn may be quiet but like her girls, she's a real fighter."
- Janet: (on filming her wedding to Paul scenes in “Neighbours”) It was an extraordinarily windy day in Melbourne, and not too warm either! The poor hair and make-up people were very overworked trying to keep us looking good.
But the wardrobe designer made an amazing wedding-party ensemble for all of us - the bride and her bridesmaids, Janelle and Susan. We looked very regal and much more dressed up that we would normally for a wedding in Neighbours.(edit)
- Janet is a member of the prestigious Melbourne Theatre Company Ensemble and has acted in numerous productions.(edit)
- During her career so far, Janet has won two Green Room Awards. One for Best Actress in a Leading Role and the second for Best Actress in a Support Role.(edit)
