Jasmine Trias: Biography

Jasmine Soriano Trias was born November 03, 1986 in Miliani. Jasmine is a Filipina-American who came in 3rd place in the third season of American Idol. Not only is she a hit in the States but Jasmine is a big star in her home country of Philippines. Jasmine was such a big star when she visited the Philippines, her visit was called "Jasmania" as Jasmine became the face of McDonalds (where people purchased "The Jasmine Trio"), Bench and Smart (the Philippines' biggest cellphone company).

Jasmine: Seeing each person voted off each week was difficult. I really miss Leah, Amy, Jon, Camile, and all of the other Top 12 finalists. Seeing John get voted off was the most difficult because of all the challenges he faced during the competition. He managed to stay strong throughout the season. He and I became good friends.(edit)

Jasmine: The Big Band night was the most challenging, because I didn't know too much music from that era. I am a big fan of Natalie Colw, so I managed to capture the vibe of the theme. Performing with the live orchestra was a wonderful opportunity.(edit)
