Jeff Gerstmann: Biography

Jeff Gerstmann was a former Editorial Director at GameSpot, a sister site of TV.com. He learned most of the rules of pro hockey from his Sega CD. The Sega CD also taught him how to love and how to avoid vampires.

He regularly contributed reviews and video features for GameSpot. He made many appearances on GameSpot's weekly "On the Spot" show. When former host Rich Gallup left, Jeff took over the host position. He was also present on their weekly podcast, titled, "The HotSpot."

Jeff was terminated in November 2007 from GameSpot. Due to legal concerns, the exact reasons were not disclosed from the company or staff. His GameSpot profile still contains his blogs (Jeff continues to blog on his own domain) and his "Points Reports" - a video blog explaining what his latest achievements are in the world of gaming.

IGN's first episode of the GamesSages Podcast guest-starred Jeff in January 2008.(edit)
