The trunk with Jacqui's old things and Emmett's diary should have been among the items that were lost in the fire at Starlight House. There is a way to explain this though. Mrs. Bailey was not with the Holograms when they were getting the Starlight Girls out of the house. That probably means that she didn't live with them at the time, which makes sense since Starlight House was so crowded. It could be that Mrs. Bailey stored some of the Bentons' things at her own home as the foster girls began taking up more room. There would have been no need for her to keep those things when everybody moved into the mansion since it was more than big enough to hold everything. (edit)
